The main body of corporate social responsibility is of course the enterprise, but only requires the enterprise to create new misunderstandings - not strict with self-discipline, the abandonment of other social entities by their own responsibilities, the misunderstanding of corporate responsibility, and the lack of understanding of sustainable development. It has a negative impact on corporate responsibility.
Ask the company to be responsible, then what have you done?
Not strict with self-discipline refers to the fact that many social subjects have clear expectations and requirements for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities, and even promote various enterprises to implement social responsibility requirements through various institutional arrangements and specific measures, but whether their behavior is in line with social responsibility. The requirements, whether it is conducive to sustainable development, but the requirements are very few, and even many actions are reversed, which is not conducive to promoting enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities.
In reality, there are five typical phenomena that are not strict with the law:
The first is the lack of responsible procurement. Many social institutions, including the government, emphasize that companies must fulfill their social responsibilities and carry out responsible product production and service delivery. However, when purchasing products and services, price, quality and delivery timeliness are still the most important or even all. The consideration of the factors, and the "responsible procurement" principles and requirements in the "throwing behind the head."
The second is the lack of responsible investment. Whether it is institutional investors or individual investors, the vast majority of investment behaviors in the capital market are measured by “reward”, and they simply ignore or even “reactive investment” and “social influence investment”. The concept and requirements of responsible investment such as social value investment; for banks, trusts and other institutions, although green finance has developed rapidly in recent years, most institutions carry out credit, issue bonds, and launch trust products, which still follow traditional thinking and traditional methods. Green credit, green bonds, and green trusts account for a relatively small proportion, while some of them have a large proportion of “digital games”.
The third is the lack of responsible consumption. The public generally believes that it is only natural for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities. However, when the public consumes their own lives, they not only abandon the pursuit of “responsible consumption” under the calculation of economic interests, but also often experience extravagant life and excessive consumption. The requirement for continuous consumption.
The fourth is the lack of responsibility education. Whether it is pre-university education, or university and post-education, there is a general lack of education that “people” are responsible for society.
The fifth is the lack of responsible citizens. People often accuse some companies of lack of integrity and morality, but some publics also fail to become a "good citizen". The phenomenon of "moral crisis" is popular, and the phenomenon of "lack of integrity" is not uncommon. It is not strict with self-discipline. It is common in society. The civil society in many developing countries, including China, started late. Traditional lifestyles, consumption habits, educational models and investment ideas are difficult to change completely in a short time. In addition, it is influenced by some social trends and social concepts that are undergoing profound changes.
